Meet Shayne & Deyda
Silver Surf School is owned and operated by Shayne and Deyda, who share a passion for surfing, the ocean and creating unforgettable experiences.
Shayne has been surfing for over 30 years, with his love of the ocean taking him to surf destinations around the world. After years of travelling, he chose Agnes Water as the perfect place to settle, drawn to its relaxed coastal lifestyle and ideal conditions for surfing.
Speaking English, Spanish, Italian and French, Shayne loves connecting with people from all over the world. For him, teaching people to surf is about more than simply catching waves. He loves seeing the confidence, excitement and big smiles that come when someone experiences the feeling of riding a wave—especially for the very first time.
Originally from Mexico, Deyda has called Agnes Water home since 2023. Fluent in English and Spanish, she manages the administration and enjoys welcoming visitors from around the world.
Together, they’re passionate about creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment where everyone can experience the joy of surfing.
